Philanthropy:

Each year, the NHAPL donates $1,000 - $1,500 to two charities of it's choosing. 

On December 1st, 2016 at the December Charity Luncheon, the NHAPL Board donated $1,000 checks to representatives of CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County and the Montgomery County Women's Shelter. For more information on these two non-profits, please click their logo below.

Collegiate Scholarships:

Each year, the NHAPL gives out two $1,000 scholarships to deserving college students. Our receipients for the 2017-2018 school year are:
  • SHANE TONER | UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA

Shane's Bio:

Shane will begin his senior year in the fall of 2017 with an expected graduation date of May 2018. Shane is an active member of the Energy Management Student Association, serving as Co-Chair of Intramurals. Shane interned with EOG in San Antonio in the summer of 2016 and will intern with Mewbourne O&G in Midland in the summer of 2017. Shane is from The Woodlands, TX and has a bright future in our industry.

Daniel's Bio:

Daniel has begun his Senior year and has an expected graduation date of December 2017. Daniel is an active member of the Tulsa Energy Management Student Association serving as Intramural Chairman from 2015-2016 and as the TAPL Chairman from 2016 to present. Daniel worked for ConocoPhillips in Bartlesville in the summer of 2015, Brent Blackstock PLC in the summer of 2016 and will work for Concho Resources in the summer of 2017.
